During its meeting held on Friday, 12 December 2025, the Executive Bureau of the World Organization for Anti-Corruption and Crime Security (OMSAC) reviewed several strategic files, particularly those related to major international events scheduled for the month of December.
Among these files, two engagements of particular importance were highlighted:
The Eleventh Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (COSP11), scheduled to take place in Doha, Qatar, from 15 to 19 December 2025;
The International Conference “Dialogue for Sustainable Development 2026”, a major international event bringing together non-governmental organizations from Europe and Asia, international experts, academics, journalists, and institutional stakeholders, to be held at the Palais des Nations – United Nations Office at Geneva, on 18 December 2025.
With regard to the latter event, a comprehensive evaluation report was jointly prepared by the Integrity & Investigations Department and the International Relations Department of OMSAC. Following an in-depth and constructive discussion, the Executive Bureau decided to grant strategic priority to the International Conference “Dialogue for Sustainable Development 2026.”
This decision led to an adjustment of the official schedule of the President of OMSAC, who was initially expected to attend COSP11 in Doha and was duly registered on the official list of participants. Consequently, the Executive Bureau recommended that Mr. Mourad MAZAR officially represent OMSAC at this high-level United Nations event in Geneva.
Regarding COSP11 in Doha, the Executive Bureau decided to entrust the mission of representation to OMSAC experts and whistleblowers, who will participate in the conference proceedings in representation of their respective countries, in line with the organization’s operational and institutional strategy.
