OMSAC–ALGERIA: Our Commitment Remains Unwavering, Our Determination Is Absolute

OMSAC wishes to reaffirm, with the utmost clarity, its profound respect and high regard for Algeria, its people, its symbols and all of its civilian, military and security institutions, as well as for the highest authorities of the State, headed by Mr. Abdelmadjid TEBBOUNE, President of the Algerian Republic.

Since the installation of OMSAC’s new leadership on 10 February 2020, our Organization has consistently maintained a position of respect, friendship and consideration towards Algeria. Throughout all these years, it has chosen to promote Algeria’s image, highlight its achievements and commend the efforts undertaken by the Algerian authorities, particularly in areas falling within the remit of its institutions and its development.

This commitment has never been driven by particular interests; rather, it stems from a sincere conviction and a constant desire to contribute positively to the image and international standing of this great country.

It is precisely for this reason that OMSAC cannot remain silent in the face of the troubling circumstances surrounding the accessibility of its official portal from certain mobile networks in Algeria, nor in the face of the discrepancies observed in the explanations provided to it over recent months.

OMSAC now intends to establish the facts with the utmost rigor and, where appropriate, identify those responsible who may have contributed to this situation, whether through administrative decisions, technical failures, individual actions or any other intervention whose reality must be objectively established.

Our Organization will not accept that individual initiatives, irresponsible conduct, destabilizing actions or possible hidden influences be allowed to undermine the relations of trust that OMSAC maintains with Algeria and its institutions.

Those who may seek, directly or indirectly, to damage this relationship, OMSAC’s image or the good-faith efforts undertaken in support of Algeria should understand that the facts will be examined and documented with the greatest possible rigor.

To this end, OMSAC will prepare and submit a detailed dossier to Mr. President of the Republic, so that the information in our possession may be brought to the attention of the highest authority of the State and so that full light may be shed on the circumstances of this matter, any possible interventions, the responsibilities involved and the mechanisms that led to the situation observed.

OMSAC’s objective is not to call Algeria, its institutions or its State into question. Quite the contrary. Our approach is precisely intended to preserve the relations of trust, respect and consideration that unite us with this country and its highest authorities, and to prevent a few individual actions or particular interests from damaging a relationship that we have always sought to make constructive and positive.

OMSAC will therefore continue, as it has done since 10 February 2020, to act in the same spirit of respect, consideration and cooperation towards Algeria. The best evidence of this sincerity can be found in the publications, statements, analyses and reports made public by OMSAC since the installation of its new leadership on 10 February 2020 and up to this day, 4 October 2026.

Throughout this period, these works have publicly and consistently demonstrated the consideration our Organization has shown towards Algeria, its President, its institutions and the achievements that we have considered worthy of being highlighted.

These publications constitute public, accessible and verifiable evidence. They demonstrate, through facts rather than words alone, that OMSAC’s position towards Algeria is neither recent nor circumstantial, nor dictated by any particular interest. It forms part of a conscious and sustained continuity since 10 February 2020.

It is precisely this consistency that makes any possible attempt to damage OMSAC’s image or compromise the positive relations that our Organization has always endeavored to maintain with Algeria and its institutions all the more difficult to understand.

Our respect for Algeria remains intact. Our regard for its highest authorities remains undiminished. Our commitment alongside Algeria remains unchanged. But so too does our determination to identify those who may seek to divert, manipulate or sabotage relations between OMSAC and Algeria.

OMSAC will therefore pursue its efforts to the fullest extent, in accordance with the institutions, the law and the truth.
