Peoples of the World,

On this International Anti-Corruption Day, I address you with gravity, respect, and hope. Corruption is not merely a silent crime; it is a destructive force that weakens nations, demoralizes institutions, betrays citizens, and opens the door to injustice, poverty, and social chaos. No country, no society, no community is immune to this scourge.

Today, we do not merely commemorate a date. We renew a shared commitment, a collective responsibility, an international pledge: to defend integrity, transparency, and human dignity.

Corruption thrives where indifference reigns. It prevails when people resign themselves to it. It takes hold when those entrusted to protect remain silent or avert their gaze.

That is why, on behalf of the OMSAC, I call upon universal conscience. I urge every citizen, every institution, every government to recognize that the fight against corruption is not the responsibility of a single organization, but a sacred mission for all humanity.

Criminals, fraudsters, impostors, and influence traffickers continually refine their methods, circumvent laws, and manipulate legal frameworks. In response, we must strengthen vigilance, international cooperation, and education in integrity. Our societies can only protect themselves if they unite around a single ideal: justice over power, ethics over profit, truth over appearance.

I extend my gratitude to the courageous women and men who expose wrongdoing, to the upright officials who resist pressure, to journalists, judges, teachers, volunteers, organizations, and ordinary citizens who refuse to accept fatalism. You are the invisible pillars of social peace — you are heroes.

On this day, I also call upon governments worldwide to strengthen transparency mechanisms, protect whistleblowers, and combat the manipulation of organizational names and false statutes used to deceive the public and usurp trust. Institutional credibility is a global heritage that must be steadfastly preserved.

Peoples of the world, corruption is not invincible. It recedes when society rises, when consciences awaken, when justice speaks louder than impunity.

Together, let us build a world where honor is valued above money, where word and integrity outweigh privilege, and where institutions truly serve those they represent.

For integrity. For justice. For humanity.
