OMSAC: The organizational document of Zone 1 (Africa & Middle East): A crucial step towards the professionalization of the Organization.



As part of the organizational restructuring of OMSAC, the year 2024 is dedicated to Zone 1, encompassing Africa and the Middle East. To this end, the executive board, chaired by Mr. Mourad MAZAR, convened on Saturday, March 6, 2024. Among the main agenda items was the discussion surrounding the document defining the organizational chart of Zone 1.


Following thorough deliberations, the members of the executive board validated the organizational document of Zone 1, the result of joint reflection between the administrative and legal departments. This organizational document is designed as an essential guide to structure and coordinate activities within Zone 1, with the aim of strengthening our efforts in combating corruption and crime on a scale specific to this strategic region.

According to the internal regulations of OMSAC, all its national, zonal, and continental representations are required to adopt the same internal structures as those of the central headquarters. Among these structures, the backbone of the organization consists of the following 10 specialized departments: Administrative Department, Legal Department, International Relations Department, General Policy Department, Integrity & Investigations Department, Finance Department, High Technology Department, Press & Media Department, Training and Development Department, and Events Department.


Each department should be led by an expert with direct experience in the corresponding field, in accordance with OMSAC's internal regulations. This approach ensures high-level expertise and effective management of the various aspects of our mission to combat corruption and crime on a global scale.

- International Relations Department

- Headed by a specialist in diplomatic relations or international affairs.

- Headed by a political scientist or expert in public policy.

- Headed by a law enforcement professional or specialist in integrity and ethics, with significant experience in judicial, security, crime-fighting, or military domains.

- Headed by a financial expert or experienced accountant.

- Headed by an expert in information technology or cybersecurity.

- Press & Media Department

- Headed by a media professional or communication specialist.

- Training and Development Department

- Headed by an expert in organizational development or professional training.
